Marques de Sapucaí

The Rio de Janeiro Sambadrome is the popular name of the “Samba Passarela”, where the parades of the Rio de Janeiro samba schools take place. In addition, this construction of 1984, is in the Marques de Sapucaí street, where much before the “Sambódromo” the schools already paraded. However formerly the bleachers and staterooms for assistance were set up annually for the party, and at the end they were dismantled.

It became, however, also an architectonic icon of Rio de Janeiro, and this type of construction ended up triggering a construction site of “sambodromos” by several capitals of Brazil. In the same way that it grew in the river, the carnival, for example, was spreading to other corners of the country.

In other words, the party conquered the whole of Brazil.

Carnaval Rio Ingressos

Carnival of Rio de Janeiro is a popular religious and social-historical festival held during five consecutive days in the month of February since 1892.

Having as birthplace of the city of Rio de Janeiro, in the same way the parades of samba schools gained international fame over time and spread to several countries, happening in places such as Argentina and Finland.

In other words the carnival of Rio de Janeiro is the most famous in Brazil and the most popular carnival type internationally.

The samba schools

Above all, a great party, which involves revelers from all backgrounds, taking part in various manifestations. Among these manifestations are the parades of samba schools that happens therefore in the sambódromo, the carnival of street with bands and carnival blocks, and the diverse dances that extend by all the city.

For parades, however, each Samba School has its “Samba Enredo”, after which it is sung by thousands of voices that join the school samba puller that sings on the speaker and on drums. In conclusion, the sound of each school’s drumming is something really resounding, and probably must be the loudest, overwhelming, thrilling sound anyone has ever heard.
